I know, because I survived it. You don’t have to do this alone. There are a lot of resources for working through trauma psychologically, but what about the ways it affects your body? Chronic conditions, pain, anxiety, exhaustion, digestive issues, etc… can all be the affects of a nervous system that is stuck in dysregulation from trauma. If counseling or therapy alone hasn’t gotten you where you’d like to be, maybe it’s time to try a different approach.
